Hey there, my name is James, and I wanted to share my experience with this website. Living with schizophrenia hasn’t been easy, but NeedsFinder is making a difference in my life. Finding the right resources for my mental health journey seemed like an uphill battle until I discovered this site. It’s been a game-changer. The information on housing, food assistance, and legal aid has been a lifeline during tough times. I wished it were around 20 years ago!

Hello, I’m Lisa, the person who started NeedsFinder.org. Even though this is the provider section, I am not yet a provider. I am still at The Ohio State University working toward my master’s degree in social work. When I graduate, I want to create a collective for people living with mental illness. It will be a friendly place where we can meet, express ourselves, speak up for our needs, and work on NeedsFinder.org. Going forward, this section of the website will be used for weekly updates from providers. So be sure to check back often!
